John Rivera oversees all aspects of the construction special inspection process, ensuring seamless coordination from project inception to closeout. With over 20 years of experience in the materials testing and inspection industry, John’s expertise lies in facilitating smooth transitions between special inspection disciplines, optimizing communication, and maintaining technical excellence across projects.
John plays a pivotal role in coordinating with developers, agencies, and design professionals, frequently attending jobsite project meetings to ensure an efficient and compliant workflow. His leadership has been instrumental in the successful completion of educational, healthcare, retail, and residential developments, where he has provided invaluable guidance in navigating complex inspection and compliance requirements.
A graduate of Binghamton University, John holds construction inspection certifications from New York University, ICC, NICET, and ACI. His industry leadership has been recognized nationally, including at the SMPS National Conference in 2008. Further showcasing his expertise, John was appointed to the New York City Building Department Special Inspections Advisory Committee in both 2018 and 2022, where he contributed to the review and modernization of the special inspections section of the NYC Building Code.
