Currently based in the South Florida region, Mr. Sheehan offers comprehensive fire protection and life-safety consulting services to the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) community. His responsibilities include meticulously reviewing Architectural and Engineering drawings to ensure adherence to local, state, and national codes and standards, alongside accessibility regulations. Collaborating closely with clients and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), such as the esteemed City of Miami Building and Fire Departments, he navigates the intricate landscape of fire protection and life safety engineering for intricate mixed-use and high-profile structures, engineering tailored resolutions for optimal safety outcomes.

Michael SHEEHAN is President of SOCOTEC's Fire & Life Safety division. Mr. Sheehan founded SLS Consulting in 2017, holding several titles within the organization including Principal and Senior Fire Protection Engineer later becoming part of the SOCOTEC family of brands.
