About Jason Shipe
As Safety Manager, Mr. Shipe is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of Ninyo & Moore’s health and safety program in accordance with OSHA regulations. His responsibilities also include the development, implementation, and maintenance of the firm’s company health and safety program per OSHA regulations, including the Injury Illness and Protection Plan, safety training, standard operating/management procedures, and safety policy development.
Mr. Shipe provides advice in matters concerning field safety/health practices, and provides support to office, lab, and field staff by providing guidance and support to ensure safety program execution. He is experienced in producing and managing health and safety plans and job safety/hazard analysis data for job sites; developing and managing employee safety training (construction safety, underground utility awareness, hazard communication, fire protection, safe driving, fall protection, accident investigations, respiratory protection program); maintaining safety record keeping and quarterly safety communications; and conducting safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards in offices, laboratories, and field activities.
Mr. Shipe serves as the administrator for various safety sites including ISNetworld and Avetta, and produces quarterly safety reports and quarterly statistics, including an annual Corrective Action Plan to track key performance indicators.
