Facade Refurbishment  

We offer a range of services for building facades, roofs and windows: 

• Evaluate the condition and/or failure of exterior walls. 
• Conduct tests and probes to find the source of air and water leakage. 
• Prepare specifications for window replacement and masonry restoration. 
• Assist in the submission of required documents to the Building Department. 

Masonry Restoration 

Masonry restoration encompasses buildings with a variety of cladding materials (e.g., mortar, brick, terra cotta, cast stones, stucco, and concrete). After an initial investigation, we present the Owner with detailed recommendations for repairs, including budgetary estimates and a list of priorities. This allows the Owner to make informed decisions. Landmark buildings require an even higher level of review.  

Repairs may consist of re-caulking, re-glazing and refinishing to improve the wall’s thermal and aesthetic appearance. 

Storefront Renovation / Replacement 

Because this building element is at ground level, it has high visibility. SOCOTEC provides or assists with design of new storefronts and the refurbishment of existing storefronts.
