About Robert SOLOMON
Robert plays a key role at SOCOTEC, following the acquisition of SLS Consulting in 2023. He is instrumental in maintaining and expanding client and collaborator relationships, serving as a technical expert on applying code-based solutions to unique building designs and innovative construction methods. Leveraging his extensive experience with emerging issues, Robert works to identify new processes that assist Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), developers, building owners, and design teams in navigating and complying with evolving codes and standards in the built environment.

Robert Solomon became a Principal at SLS Consulting, now part of SOCOTEC, in 2020. Before joining the firm, he enjoyed a distinguished 34-year career with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), where he held several key positions including Director, Senior Fire Protection Engineer, and Fire Protection Engineer. Prior to his tenure at NFPA, Robert served as a Senior Fire Protection Engineer with the Naval Facilities Engineering Command.
